Endoscopies

Endoscopy services at Fitzgibbon Hospital provide enhanced screening, diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities for gastrointestinal disorders associated with the esophagus, stomach, and colon.  Procedures are performed on both an inpatient and outpatient basis.

• FEGD (Fiberoptic Esophagogastroduodenoscopy) - An FEGD is a test to examine the lining of the esophagus, stomach and first part of the small intestine.


• Colonoscopy - A colonoscopy is a test to look at the inside of your large intestine (rectum and colon).
