Ambulatory Care Unit

Ambulatory Care (AC) is medical care that typically does not require an overnight stay.  The experienced staff of Registered Nurses in our AC Unit care for patients needing injections, infusions, transfusions and PICC line placement and care, and assist trained physicians in providing treatment of pain management.  In addition, the AC Unit provides pre-anesthesia testing, pre-operative evaluation, and acute post-op recovery/Phase I and outpatient/Phase II recovery.

The AC Unit consists of 8 individual cardiac-monitored rooms with a centrally-located monitoring station, a treatment room, 2 scope/procedure rooms, a pre-op/pre-procedure room, outpatient laboratory area, and a physician/family conference room.  Call lights are located within each room and each restroom, and a patient nourishment center is conveniently located on the unit.
