For Patients

What to Expect at Your First Visit

We encourage that you have someone come with you on at least your first visit, and you should plan on being here at the Cancer Center for about an hour. Your visit may include:
  • Consultation and evaluation by one of our nurses and physicians
  • Having your blood drawn 30 minutes prior to your meeting with your physician
  • Tests being performed that are needed to design your specific treatment regimen/plan

New Patient Paperwork

You will be asked to fill out new patient paperwork for your first appointment. Prior to your appointment, we will send you a confirmation letter with your appointment and new patient paperwork for you to fill out at your convenience to bring with you.  If time does not allow for the confirmation letter to be sent, you can download the new patient forms and fill them out before you arrive.

We also ask that you please bring your insurance cards with you on your first visit or anytime you have a change or update in your insurance coverage.

Bell of Hope

We celebrate with our patients at the completion of their cancer treatment, and one way is our patients can ring “The Bell of Hope.” It symbolizes the end of one journey and the beginning of the next.

"Your day has come to strike the bell
Your silent heart has much to tell
And much to toll this proud new day
Treatment done,
You’re on your way.”
