57th Annual Fitzgibbon Auxiliary Holiday Bazaar Returns

The 57th Fitzgibbon Hospital Auxiliary Holiday Bazaar to raise funds for Fitzgibbon Hospital will he held from 3 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 18, at the Martin Community Center. The event has changed in its makeup and its location through the years, but it is always a great time for a good cause! The vendor booths, silent auction and bake sale will begin at the Martin Community Center at 3 p.m., with the chili supper and children’s activities kicking off at 4 p.m. All other activities planned for the event will conclude at 7:30 p.m.
Proceeds benefit equipment “wish lists” within departments at Fitzgibbon Hospital and The Living Center as well as continuing education and scholarships for Fitzgibbon and TLC staff.
This year’s Holiday Bazaar will include:
Chili/Soup Supper – Adults, $7, Kids aged 8 and under, $4 — includes a bowl of soup or chili, pimiento cheese sandwich or hot dog, drink and a dessert. The food line opens at 4 p.m. Orders may be taken for both “eat-in” and carry-out.
4 Raffles drawing – Beef and More features one half prime grain-fed beef, processing and a 15-cubic foot, frost-free chest freezer with free delivery in Saline County; Stash of Ca$h features an opportunity to win $1,000; Grillin’ and Chillin’ features a Traeger Grill, Blackstone Propane Griddle Cooking Station and a $100 gift certificate to S&P’s Quality Meats in Marshall; Get your Game On features an Xbox Series X with wireless controller and extra controller, and a 65” Class 4K Crystal UHD LED Smart TV. Tickets sell for $20 each. Or you may mix and match three tickets for $50. These tickets are available in The Gift Shop at Fitzgibbon Hospital. For questions, call (660) 886-7431 ext. 596.
Silent Auction - Fitzgibbon Hospital departments put together fun-filled, themed baskets for the silent auction. The baskets are filled with wonderful items to give as presents to others, or enjoy on your own. Past baskets have featured everything from lottery tickets, to Chiefs’ themed apparel to electronics and gift certificates.
Bake Sale – Fitzgibbon Hospital Auxiliary home-baked cakes, pies, cookies, breads and more; Patsy Dehn’s cinnamon rolls and French bread.
Vendor Booths - Vendors this year will include Backroads Etching, Boock’s Creations, Common Good Natural Living, Cramer’s Creative Creations, Festa Glassworks, Get Drizzled, Jane Lewis Wreaths, Karma Kettle Corn, Linda’s Pampered Chef, M-Town Graphics, Mary Kay, Mongar Made Woodcrafting, Norwex, Nutman, S&K Tree Farm, Scentsy, Shabby2Chic Boutique and Susan Tharp, Usborne Books & More, along with gift options for all ages thanks to the Fitzgibbon Hospital Auxiliary Gift Shop bringing many of their items to the Martin Center.
Children’s Area - FREE cookie decorating, craft, face painting and letter writing to Santa. Photos with Santa and special holiday backdrops will be available for $6, from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. There will also be a self-service selfie station for Christmas photos.
