Thanks to memorial contributions to the Fitzgibbon Mary Montgomery Hospice, Fitzgibbon Hospital is offering the Grief Recovery Program, led by Richard DeFord, Board-Certified Chaplain and Grief Recovery Specialist.

This eight-week program provides the tools necessary to move to a place of completeness with any one of more than 40 types of grief or loss.  From the death of a loved one to the loss of a pet, this FREE program can help improve the health of our community.

Information meetings are held regularly with Session 1 of the 8-week program being open to attendees.  Once session 1 is complete, the group closes until the next group formation, usually 10 weeks later (depending on weather and holidays).  All costs are covered, including the book, by hospice memorial funds.  Please call Richard DeFord at (660)831-3235 for more information or to learn when the next class will be.
