William Carlile, M.D., a board certified anesthesiologist, has been offering services on an outpatient basis at Fitzgibbon Hospital since December 5th, 2007.
Dr. Carlile earned a BA in Chemistry from Washburn University in Topeka, Kansas, and completed his medical degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Kansas. He completed a residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center, and gained valuable experience in the field of anesthesiology as Chief of Anesthesia Service at the United States Air Force Hospital at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma before working as an anesthesiologist in private practice. Dr. Carlile has been in full-time practice of pain medicine in Warsaw, Missouri, since March of 2004.
According to Dr. Carlile, a person’s pain is individual and complex and is the most common reason for a person to seek medical attention. Some of the conditions Dr. Carlile treats include neck pain, back pain, leg pain, sciatica, myofascial pain, acute herpetic neuropathy (shingles), post herpetic neuropathy, complex regional pain syndrome, peripheral neuropathy, fibromyalgia, and phantom limb pain.

Suzanne Vogelsmeier completed her undergraduate studies in nursing at the University of Missouri, Columbia, and practiced as an ICU nurse for 15 years.  She also holds a Master's Degree in Nursing from the Nurse Practitioner program at the University of Missouri, Kansas City.

Suzanne developed a Specialty in Wound Care and became certified as a Wound Care Specialist (CWS).  She has worked exclusively in Wound Care for the past five years.  She is a member of the American Academy of Wound Management (AAWM); the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC); and the Missouri Nurses Association.

At the Fitzgibbon Wound Clinic, Suzanne will provide wound care under the directions of Brian Brizendine, M.D., Roy Elfrink, M.D., and Marcia Moore, M.D.
