Patient Rights

Upon your admission to Fitzgibbon Hospital, you will receive a booklet, "You Can Choose: Making Decisions About Your Medical Treatment and Patient’s Bill of Rights." This booklet gives you information about treatment choices, advance directives and patient rights and responsibilities. Please read through this booklet. If you have any questions or concerns, or if you do not receive this booklet, please ask your nurse for more information.

For our non-English speaking and hearing impaired patients, interpreters are available for translation of medical advice and care. For more information, please contact a patient care representative.
