Patient Accounts

"Our Mission...To better serve and educate customers in an ethical, courteous and confidential manner to meet their financial obligations.  By submitting medical claims and providing financial assistance with the expectation of prompt reimbursement."

We understand that medical expenses can be expensive and unexpected. The Patient Accounts staff is available to assist you with your financial questions.  They are responsible for the filing of all insurance claims for the Hospital, Grand River Medical Clinic, Marshall Emergency Physicians, Marshall Family Practice, Marshall Orthopedic & Sports Medicine, Marshall Surgical Associates and Marshall Women's Care.

Please be aware that you may receive separate bills for different aspects of same procedure. The hospital’s charges represent use of equipment, technical personnel and materials. Charges from professional groups listed below are for specialized services or materials, so you may receive a separate bill from:

    Marshall Radiology Services        Fitzgibbon Anesthesia Group        Boyce & Bynum Pathology Labs, Inc.

We have put together a Frequently Asked Questions guide to help answer some commonly asked questions.  If you need further assistance regarding your bill, you will need the following information:

  • Patient’s name

  • Date of Service

  • Account Number (will be an "F" or "M" number)

  • Whether it’s a Clinic or Hospital claim

  • Office hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm   (660) 831-3700

    Patient Accounts is now located on the Hospital Campus, next door to The Living Center on Linden Tree Parkway, below the Rehab Center.

    Have you noticed a change when you visit one of Fitzgibbon Hospital’s associated clinics? That is because we have recently implemented new Practice Management software. GE Centricity is a program that will improve the registration and billing processes in our clinics. As we strive to make this transition as seamless as possible for our patients, our billing statements will change. You may still call the same phone number regarding any questions. That number is 1-660-831-3700. With this change we hope that you, as our customer, are satisfied with the service we provide. We appreciate your patience during a time of transition into this new program.
