Administration

The office, located just inside the main entrance of the hospital, is home to Chief Executive Officer Ron Ott, who is also one of four Management Executive Council members. The offices of the other three MEC representatives – Chief Financial Officer Nancy Harris, Vice President of Patient Care Services Lynne Ott and Vice President of Hospital and Employee Services Bruce Blalock - are located at strategic places within the facility.

The administrative suite also houses the offices of the Quality Management Coordinator, the Corporate Compliance and HIPAA Coordinator, the Medical Staff Office Coordinator, the Managed Care Coordinator and the Credentials Coordinator.

The Quality Management Coordinator facilitates and coordinates the assessment of organizational processes and patient outcomes as well as the development and implementation of improvement strategies.

The Corporate Compliance and HIPAA Coordinator is charged with educating hospital employees on business related ethics issues and patient confidentiality regulations as well as monitoring the use of and access to patient health information employees.

The Medical Staff Office Coordinator fills the role of Administrative Assistant for Physician Recruitment and CME Coordinator.

The Managed Care Coordinator negotiates insurance contracts between the hospital and managed care organizations.

The Credentials Coordinator works to ensure that all hospital and physician credentials are in up-to-date and in proper order.

Three administrative assistants are also employed in the department. They provide support services for the coordinators listed above as well as for other service areas throughout the organization.
