COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

   The Fitzgibbon Hospital Auxiliary has always supported the hospital and its mission through various fundraising events as well as an active volunteer program.

   Over the past year, the Auxiliary has taken on a very visible and active role concerning the Cancer Center Capital Campaign. So far, the Auxiliary has donated nearly $34,000 to the Campaign, and they are planning additional fundraising activities for the future.

   The Fitzgibbon Auxiliary Scholarship provides continuing educational funds for members of the nursing staff and others within our community. Recipients in 2006 were Ali Creed and Heidi Fidler, shown above with Auxiliary President Tammy Papreck.
