COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

In 2006, Fitzgibbon Hospital awarded six $500 scholarships to area high school seniors who are planning to go into the medical field. Now in its fifth year of existence, the Fitzgibbon Hospital Scholarship has awarded over $12,000 in college funds to the recipients, which is an investment in our community as well as an investment in the future workforce.

   To date, three recipients of the Fitzgibbon Hospital Scholarship have joined the Fitzgibbon family as full-time or part-time employees, with others planning to join us after graduation.
